CHINAPLAS 2026 (April 21-24, Shanghai): A Record-Breaking Showcase

From April 21 to 24, 2026, CHINAPLAS 2026 was grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. As Asia's No. 1 plastics and rubber trade fair, the event shattered previous records: over 390,000 sqm across 16 halls, hosting more than 5,000 exhibitors from 46 countries, and attracting over 350,000 professional visitors. Defined by "Circular Economy," "Digitalization," and "Innovative Materials," the show proved to be a critical hub for innovation amidst volatile raw material costs and fierce market competition.

Highlights of Our Showcase at CHINAPLAS 2026

1. Flame Retardant PA66/6 Chips – JLS-FRFPA06 / FRFPA66

Performance: LOI 30–32% (High Efficiency).

Processability: Customizable fineness (civil grade), breaking strength of 4.8 cN/dtex.

Durability: Excellent wash resistance and uniform dyeability.

2. Spinning Grade FR Masterbatch – JLS-MBFPET

Compatibility: Works with PET/rPET blends (recycled content).

Safety: BPA-Free, Low Smoke Density (>10% reduction vs. intrinsic FR PET).

3. TPU Flame Retardant Masterbatch – JLS-MBFTPU

Applications: Melt/wet coating, microfiber leather, spandex, TPU film.

Properties: LOI ≥ 26%, low odor, transparent, non-migrating, wash-resistant.

4. Intrinsic Flame Retardant Polyol – JLS-PPL660

Properties: LOI ≥ 26%, wash-resistant, low VOC, odor-free.

Soft TPU Compatible: Achieves flame retardancy even at 45A hardness.

Techtextil 2026 (April 21-24, Frankfurt): Global Connectivity

Simultaneously, a second JLS team participated in Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany – the world's leading trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens. The event brought together 1,700 exhibitors from 54 countries and welcomed over 36,000 visitors from 112 nations, with visitor satisfaction hitting 95%. Key trends included "Natural Performance" (bio-based materials), permanent flame retardancy, and AI-driven processing. JLS exhibited at Booth 9.1C85, showcasing our halogen-free flame retardant solutions to the European market.

Looking Ahead

Though CHINAPLAS 2026 and Techtextil 2026 have concluded, our commitment to innovation and partnership continues. The conversations started in Shanghai and Frankfurt are now moving into product trials and commercial collaborations.
